Condition & Quality

Transparency is crucial for us here at Zage Vintage and that’s why we photograph and mention ANYTHING that is faulty/flawed/marked on an item.

Condition

Our Condition category is where you find details of any specific marks/stains/flaws on an item. We go out of our way to photograph any failing, whether it be a loose thread, missing zip-pull, small mark, faulty zip or a hole. 

If you receive an item with any damage, which we did not flag up, please send a photo to contact@zagevintage.com so we can resolve this for you. 

Quality

Our Quality category is where you can gain a clear idea as to the feel of the vintage material itself. Our rankings relate to four clear categories of vintage material types:

A: Excellent Condition - This grade represents items that are in near-perfect condition, with little to no signs of wear and tear. The item may have minimal scuffs or scratches, but will not detract from the overall appearance.

B: Good Condition - Items in this grade may have some visible signs of use, such as scuffs, light scratches, or slight discoloration. However, these imperfections do not significantly impact the appearance of the item and it still looks good overall.

C: Fair Condition - Items in fair condition may have more noticeable signs of wear, such as deeper scratches, discoloration, or some worn edges. These items still have life left in them and can be a good choice for someone who appreciates vintage items with a little bit of history.

D: Poor Condition - This grade represents items that are heavily worn, with significant signs of damage such as rips, tears, missing hardware, or other structural problems. These items may not be suitable for everyday use, but can still be a good choice for those who enjoy fixing up vintage items or using them for display purposes.

For a return to be valid, you must request the return within 14 days of receiving the item, and send it back to us within the following 14 days. A 28-day complete time frame.

You will need to cover any return shipping costs. 

Any item(s) remains your responsibility until we receive it and we will not give a refund for any item which is not in the same condition as when sent. 

Sale items and discounted items over 30% are non-refundable 

Please send all returns via tracked mail as we cannot be held responsible for any lost items. 

We aim to process refunds within a week of having received the return

Once a refund is made an email notification will be sent and the money should show in your bank account within 5 working days
